Most of the photos which appear in the book are the ones I took in my walk among the Għannejja, however there are a number of people who provided me with essential images from their collection. Among these are Charles Mangion ‘iż-żubina’ from Malta, who not only provided me with Għana photos but was always helpful and accommodating whenever I needed to organise interviews and seek information on Maltese Għannejja and Kitarristi at his club, Pieta Boċċi Club. I also thank Albert Agius from Melbourne, Kevin Bradley from Canberra, photographer John M. Borg from Malta and the general Għana communities in Malta and Australia.
