The BookLife Readers range has been purposely created with budding readers in mind. By creating a beautifully-illustrated range of fiction books aimed towards each literacy level, BookLife provide children with readers they can read with confidence. The Readers are fully-decodable, meaning that every child is given the sounds needed to read independently.
Book Bands also allow for clear ability assessment and progressive developmental reading, starting with CVC words and building on the combination as the reader progresses through each level. These Letters and Sounds (L&S) levels also align with the practices of teachers and professionals across education. Through this consistent approach, children can continue building their skills at school and at home.
The entry level readers begin with wordless story telling, encouraging young readers to familiarise themselves with books and the process of story progression.
