Lorna Vassallo (B.A., L.P., M.Jur.) graduated as a legal procurator and specialized in European law, but went on to embrace the teaching career in state schools. Along the years she gained prolific experience in the teaching of the main European languages (English, Italian, French and German) and also obtained basic certification in Arabic, Spanish and Russian. In 2011 she did a postgraduate conference interpreting course at the University of Malta. Presently employed as Administrative Manager at the Cooperatives Board. she is also a licensed tourist guide and a regular newspaper columnist. In the past she also worked as a radio and television producer/presenter.
