Description
Never Arrive is the journey of a Somali youngster who, at 16 years of age, leaves his familiar, yet oppressive, surroundings in search of a culture that tolerates his sexuality and passions. It is a first-hand chronicle of what it means for a male minor to cross half the African continent, including the vast Sahara Desert; then, risking everything at sea and finally reaching Malta after the third attempt.
Fast, honest, heart-breaking… This story is about the heartless smuggling of human beings, oppression and abuse, but also about dreams, growth and, most of all, freedom. This is Farah’s story.
