And now, Prime Minister Robberbarron needs to convince Mibdul’s former colonizers at Treaty to lend a helping hand. But he has a back-up plan in the ruthless local entrepreneur Orion … who has her own original – and utterly amoral – ideas about how to make lemons out of this cataclysmic lemonade. Meanwhile, Magla, still reeling from her direct telepathic contact with these ancient horrors from within, is keen to discover the reason for this disturbing bond.
Mibdul tells a colourful and gripping story, while also dipping into familiar political scenes to lend a flavour and satirical edge to a story that otherwise draws from a rich well of pop culture and myth.
