Description
A Palace Of Arms was created to offer a colourful insight into the fascinating subject of heraldry and showcase the rich heraldic heritage found in the Grand Master’s Palace: from the time of the knights, through the British period, and into down to the present day. Today, heraldry is not merely a relic of the past but a living tradition, thriving alongside a renewed fascination with the pageantry of the Middle Ages. Around the world, heraldic societies continue to emerge, and the demand for the design and official registration of personal arms by recognised authorities has grown exponentially.
