Ben Brooks

Ben Brooks is a young British novelist and children’s author from Gloucestershire, known for works including the award-winning novel Lolito, the bestseller Grow Up, and the million-copy young adult Stories for Boys Who Dare to Be Different series, translated into 28 languages. Stories for Boys Who Dare to Be Different 2 is a follow-up to his award-winning original book. It features inspiring short biographies of real-life boys and men from history and the modern world who challenged expectations, overcame obstacles, and achieved success in fields such as science, sport, music, art, and activism. The book aims to encourage young readers to be confident, individual, and true to themselves.

Brooks is also the author of several other children’s titles, including Stories for Kids Who Dare to Be Different and The Impossible Boy, as well as novels for adults such as Grow Up and Lolito. His work often focuses on individuality, self-expression, and challenging stereotypes.
