Angela Scott

Angela Scott is an internationally recognised wildlife photographer, conservation storyteller, author, and television presenter whose work has helped bring the beauty and complexity of Africa’s wildlife to audiences around the world. Best known for her long-standing partnership with her husband, renowned wildlife expert Jonathan Scott, she has dedicated her career to documenting the natural world and promoting wildlife conservation through photography, books, television, and public engagement.

For more than four decades, Scott has lived and worked in Kenya’s Maasai Mara, where she has developed an intimate understanding of the region’s ecosystems and iconic wildlife. Her striking photography and compelling storytelling have been featured in numerous books, magazines, exhibitions, and conservation projects, capturing the lives of Africa’s most celebrated species while highlighting the importance of protecting their habitats. Angela Scott gained international recognition through her work on the acclaimed BBC television series Big Cat Diary, which offered viewers an unprecedented look into the daily lives of the Mara’s lions, leopards, and cheetahs.
