Description
It is well known that the Archives at the Cathedral Museum, Mdina – Malta contain considerable late medieval material relating to Maltese history, only a small part of which had been researched and published prior to the opening of the Cathedral Museum in 1969. The contributions of Mgr Alfredo Mifsud and of Professor Roberto Valentini in the early decades of the present century were, in the last twenty years or so, followed by those of Dr Godfrey Wettinger and Dr Stanley Fiorini, the author of the present volume.
