The set of four Progress Books provide focused practice of reading sounds and words, including nonsense words. They are carefully levelled to match each stage of reading. They provide each child with a clear record of their day-by-day progress and a celebration of their achievement.

- Asking a child to read nonsense words also ensures that they are not guessing words and will build their confidence in their wider reading and in the Phonics Screening Check
