Martin Peter Farrell began his teaching career in 1991 at Verdala Junior Lyceum, Cospicua. In 1992, he joined the Physics Department of the New Lyceum (Sixth Form), Msida. Following the restructuring of post-secondary education in Malta, he continued his teaching career at the G.F. Abela Junior College.
He is the author of Advanced Level Physics Q&A (Agenda), published in two volumes, and Intermediate Physics 16-18 (Agenda).
In 2012, he received the Distinguished Science Teaching Award from the Malta Association of Science Educators. His other publications include Riħa ta’ Ġizimin u Stejjer Oħra (JBX Publishing), a collection of short stories in Maltese.
