Description
This volume is the first in a series of publications exclusively dedicated to the study of the Decorative Arts in the Central Mediterranean. It is an integral part of the long-term strategy of the Department of Art and Art History, Faculty of Arts, University of Malta to consolidate the study of the Decorative Arts in Malta within the larger Mediterranean and international contexts, under the direction of Dr Mark Sagona.
This publication brings together five peer-reviewed essays on different aspects of nineteenth-century decorative arts for the Maltese Islands.
