Description
Fort St Angelo is one of the oldest structures and the earliest surviving man-made fortification within the Grand Harbour.
Only when accessing the site and wandering within, that the views from behind the fort’s ramparts reveal the full context and importance of this fort which remained relevant to local defence until the 20th century, constantly upgraded throughout the years in order to defend land, sea, and eventually air, alike.
