First published in Maltese in three volumes with the Storja ta’ l-Inkiżizzjoni ta’ Malta, by “Reliġjon u Ħajja”, in 1990, 1992, 1994.
The English version in one volume is a complete revision of the Maltese one, by the Author himself.
