Lydia Sciriha

Lydia Sciriha is Professor of Linguistics in the Department of English at the University of Malta, where she has been teaching sociolinguistics, discourse analysis and other related areas since 1987. For a number of years, she also directed the University’s Language Laboratory Complex. She has authored and co-authored eleven books, and has edited two journal issues. Professor Sciriha is a former Commonwealth scholar and Commonwealth fellow and has taught in Australia, Cyprus, Germany and Luxembourg.
