Caroline Crowe is a British children’s author known for writing humorous and engaging picture books for young readers. Her stories are widely used in early years classrooms and are popular with parents and teachers for their playful language, strong rhythm, and fun storytelling style. Her first book Pirates on Pyjamas, won the Heart of Hawick Children’s Book Award and her second book, Is that and Elephant in my Fridge, was chosen by the Scottish Booktrust as one of their Bookbug books for 2018.

Her work often combines simple, accessible text with lively and imaginative ideas designed to capture children’s attention. She often writes stories that include repetition, rhyme, and playful twists, which help support early reading skills while keeping children entertained.
