Carlo Bonzanigo
Carlo began his design career in 1995 at Pininfarina, Turin, Italy. He has been Pininfarina Senior Vice President Design and Head of Advanced Design and Concept Cars at Citroën, as well as Citroën Program Design Director for production cars and “Maître Expert Design” of the PSA Peugeot Citroën Group. He has a proven track record of successful projects. Among the most notable cars he has been responsible for are the Automobili Pininfarina Battista electric hypercar, the Karma GT by Pininfarina, the Maserati Granturismo, the Citroën C1, C3 Picasso, and several award-winning Concept Cars.
Prior to founding the eponymous design studio, he has been Founder and Managing Partner of the Mobility Design Studio ANYMA DESIGN that was located in Forlì, in the heart of Italy’s “motor valley”. Carlo holds a BSc in Transportation Design from the Art Center College of Design and an MSc in Mechanical Engineering (specializing in aeronautics) from ETH Zurich – the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology.
A car enthusiast and an expert in automotive design history, Carlo sits on the juries of several Concours d’Elégance Automobile and regularly writes articles on design and automobiles. He is author of the book « CARS, DESIGN AND EMOTIONS – In praise of aesthetical pleasure » published in 2021 by Artioli Editore 1899, Modena, Italy.
