C.B. Lee is a New York bestselling author of young-adult and middle-grade fiction and fantasy. She is an American author best known for writing fun, inclusive young adult fiction especially stories featuring queer characters, superheroes, and fandom culture. Of Chinese descent and based in Los Angeles, passionate about media and storytelling.

Lee is most famous for her Ben 10, Seven Tears at High Tide and Sidekick Squad series, which blends superheroes, LGBTQ+ romance, humour and coming-of-age themes. Other notable books include A Clash of Steel, a queer reimagining of Treasure Island, the fun, sapphic, cosy fantasy YA romance, Coffeeshop in an Alternate Universe, and Minecraft – The Shipwreck, a novel that unravels the mysteries of an extraordinary underwater world.
