Bella Cortis

Bella Cortis is a dedicated yoga practitioner who shares her passion for wholesome, vegetarian cooking with the wider community. As an experienced vegetarian cook, she specialises in creating meals that are both nourishing and satisfying, and she enjoys supporting others who are exploring vegetarianism as a lifestyle through practical tips and guidance. Deeply inspired by yoga philosophy, which often embraces a vegetarian diet. Bella has long cultivated vegetarian cooking as a personal passion. She regularly provides catering for yoga retreats and workshops and contributes to the events at the Lotus Room Yoga Centre in Zebbug, Malta.

Bella’s yoga journey began in 2005 when her daughter, Jenny, started teaching hatha yoga. Moved by her first class, Bella became a regular participant and a strong supporter of her daughter’s teaching, encouraging the growth and development of the Lotus Room community. Today, she continues to play an active role by providing vegetarian meals at events and offering guidance on vegetarian living to students.

Bella’s Book of Recipes is a collection of her favourite dishes, created with care and love. It reflects her belief that simple, healthy food can bring joy, balance, and nourishment to everyday life.
