Ali Novak

Ali Novak is an American author of contemporary young adult romance. Born and raised in Wisconsin, a University of Wisconsin–Madison creative writing graduate, Ali Novak began writing at a very young age. She started her debut novel when she was only fifteen years old and initially published it chapter-by-chapter on Wattpad, where it attracted millions of readers. Her online success led to a publishing deal, and My Life with the Walter Boys became a bestseller. She is one of the most successful authors to emerge from Wattpad.

The novel was nominated for a Goodreads Choice Award and was included on the Young Adult Library Services Association’s Teens’ Top 10 list. Ali Novak quickly bacame an award-winning author of contemporary young adult novels. Her work was adapted into a sensational Netflix series. Novak is also known for The Heartbreak Chronicles series (2015), Paper Hearts (2017), Heartstrings (2025), My Return to the Walter Boys (2025).
