Aleander Balzan
Aleander Balzan is a Maltese journalist, editor, broadcaster, and communications professional with extensive experience in political journalism and media. Throughout his career he has worked in television broadcasting, news reporting, and editorial management, contributing to the communication of public affairs and current events in Malta. His work has focused particularly on political reporting and the documentation of contemporary Maltese public life.
Balzan is best known in publishing as the editor of Joseph – L-Aqwa Żmien ta’ Pajjiżna Għadu Ġej (2017), a commemorative volume centred on the first legislature of the Labour Government under Prime Minister Joseph Muscat. The book combines a personal account by Muscat with a selection of speeches, photographs, a concise biographical profile, and an overview of the government’s principal achievements during its first term in office.
