Aaron J Grech

Aaron J. Grech is a Maltese mathematics educator, author, and school leader with more than two decades of experience teaching mathematics at secondary level.

Grech has dedicated over 23 years to mathematics education. Throughout his career, he has been committed to making mathematics accessible, engaging, and academically rigorous for students of varying abilities. Grech is best known as a co-author of the KY Maths (“Know Your Maths”) textbook series for secondary schools, developed in collaboration with fellow educators including Robert Pawley and Reuben Ellul. The series has been widely adopted in Maltese schools and is recognized for its clear explanations, structured progression of topics, and strong emphasis on problem-solving and examination preparation.

Through both his classroom teaching and published work, Aaron J. Grech has made a significant contribution to mathematics education in Malta, helping generations of students build confidence and competence in mathematics.
