A. Ellul was a Maltese educator and author who specialised in computer programming and information technology education for MATSEC students.

Pascal for MATSEC – A Hands-On Approach, was designed to provide a practical introduction to the Pascal programming language through worked examples, exercises, and hands-on applications, helping students prepare for secondary and post-secondary examinations in computing.

Through this publication, Ellul contributed to the teaching of computer science in Malta by making programming concepts more accessible and application-oriented for learners.
