Description

The future of people on the Islands of the Goddess rests with the Clans that first arrived there. Enaa, a young medicine woman leads her people in their struggles for survival. They build the first Temples that worship the Goddess Ilahat, whom they believe, provides them with the tools to navigate their daily lives. Over several decades, Temples are built on the Islands, looked after by small Clans, to form communities and create an ancient human culture.

This prehistoric novel follows the quest of the first Mesolithic Island people to honour the Goddess, through rituals and celebrations of celestial events across the skies. Recent archaeological discoveries in the Maltese archipelago, of the existence of hunter gatherers on the Islands 8,000 years ago, have inspired the Islands of the Goddess, and as such some of the descriptions in the book are founded on evidence and events based within existing prehistoric sites.
