Unequivocal scientific proof of the existence of ghosts is unsubstantial in each case. Nonetheless, the countless and persistent reports of their sightings cannot be discounted as sheer tricks of the mind, or are they? Ultimately, the veracity of such beliefs is as legitimate as the belief in afterlife itself.

Wicked Ghost Stories of Malta includes ghost stories from Malta in comic book format. The comic book section was a collaboration of comic artists both local and foreign some of which are established in the comic industry, artists like Ian Richardson, Mario Torrisi, Luisa Russo, Tim Perkins, Kevin Enhart and Jenika Ioffreda. The publication also includes short accounts of resident ghosts at sites managed by Heritage Malta.
